Credits are what the AI spends to do work for you. Writing copy, designing an image, building a page, answering a customer, running a task — each one uses credits. This page gives you the real numbers, so you can plan instead of guess.

What a credit is worth

1 credit = $0.02. So $1 buys 50 credits, and $5 buys 250.
That rate is the same however you get credits — included with your plan, bought as a top-up, or added automatically.

What AI work costs

Most of what Crevio does for you is priced by the actual work done, not a flat fee per request. A one-line tweak to a headline costs a fraction of what building a full website costs, because it genuinely is less work. Two things drive the cost:
  • How much work the job takes. Longer, more complex jobs cost more.
  • Which AI model runs it. Heavier jobs use more capable, more expensive models.
Because of that, the exact cost of a piece of AI work is only known once it has run. Crevio doesn’t quote a price up front for open-ended work, and the assistant can’t tell you what something will cost before doing it.
If a job might be big, ask Crevio to do it in steps. You see the result — and the cost — after each one, instead of committing to the whole thing at once.

Every message to the assistant costs credits

Talking to Crevio isn’t free. Every turn the assistant takes spends credits — including when it retries something, and including when it’s fixing its own mistake. This is worth knowing because it changes how you get value:
  • A clear, specific request costs less than three rounds of clarification.
  • Saying what you don’t want up front is cheaper than asking for a redo.
  • Asking Crevio to remember a preference means you stop paying to repeat it.

What has a fixed price

Two kinds of work cost the same every time, because they’re paid per call to an outside service: Phone calls are charged on the real length of the call, rounded up to the next minute. A call can never run past what your balance covers — Crevio caps the call length to the minutes you can afford. Everything else the AI does for you — including browsing the web and running actions in your connected apps — carries no separate per-action fee. It’s covered by the cost of the AI work itself.

What doesn’t cost credits

  • Browsing your own dashboard, orders, customers, and analytics.
  • Publishing, editing, or deleting things yourself by clicking around.
  • Receiving payments from your buyers.
  • Connecting or disconnecting an app, social account, or domain.

Where to see your balance

Go to SettingsPlan & credits. You’ll see your current balance and a breakdown of what credits have been spent on, so you can see where the AI’s effort is going.

Topping up

If you run low before your plan renews, you can buy more without waiting.
1

Open your plan settings

Go to SettingsPlan & credits.
2

Choose an amount

Top-ups start at $5 (250 credits) and you pick any amount above that. There’s no fixed pack size.
3

Confirm

It charges the card already on your account, and the credits land right away.
Buying credits needs an active paid plan. On the free plan you’ll be offered an upgrade instead of the purchase form.

Automatic top-ups

Turn on auto top-up and Crevio refills your balance for you, so a long job doesn’t stop halfway.
  • It triggers when your balance drops below 250 credits ($5 worth).
  • It buys $20 of credits (1,000 credits) each time.
  • It uses the card already on your account.

When credits expire

On the free plan

  • You start with 250 credits when you sign up.
  • Each month, your balance is topped up to 100 credits if it’s below that.
That’s a top-up, not a bonus: if you’re already above 100 credits, nothing is added, and if you’re at 40, you get 60. Bought credits are never taken away by this — if you’ve topped up and are sitting above the allowance, the monthly refresh simply skips you.

Limits that aren’t about credits

Some things are capped per day by your plan, separately from your credit balance. Having credits doesn’t raise these, and hitting one doesn’t spend credits. Phone calls also have anti-spam caps that apply on every plan: at most 3 call attempts to the same number in 24 hours, with a 3-hour gap between attempts.

Things to know

  • Crevio’s assistant can’t see your balance or quote you a price. If it tells you something is free or promises a refund, that’s a mistake — check SettingsPlan & credits for the truth.
  • Cost follows the work, not the outcome. If a job runs and you don’t like the result, the work still happened and the credits were still spent. Asking for a change is a new, usually much smaller job.
  • Your own app’s AI usage is billed separately and at cost. If Crevio built you an app that calls AI itself, that traffic goes through Crevio at the AI provider’s list price with no markup, capped at 25,000 credits per day per key by default.
