# FAQ

> Plain answers to the questions business owners ask most — about the AI, payments, credits, getting started, and getting help.

This page covers the questions people ask most. New to Crevio? Start with [Getting started](/introduction/getting-started). Want the big picture? See [How Crevio works](/introduction/how-crevio-works).

## Getting started

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Do I need any technical skills?">
    Not at all. If you can describe what you want in plain words, Crevio can do the work. There's no code, no setup wizards to wrestle with, and no design tools to learn. You talk, it builds.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How long does it take to get going?">
    A few minutes. You can have a live website and your first product ready in about five minutes — faster if you let Crevio build the first version for you and then tweak it.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What can I sell on Crevio?">
    Pretty much anything digital — online courses, downloadable files, memberships, coaching and services, communities, events, and more. You can bundle several of these into a single product if you like.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What should I do as the business owner each day?">
    Check in on what the AI has done, give feedback on anything you'd change, and point it at the next priority. The clearer you guide it early on, the more it can run on its own. You don't need to log in every day for things to keep moving.

## About the AI

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Can Crevio really build my website?">
    Yes. Describe your business — what you sell, who it's for, the vibe you want — and Crevio builds your website, drafts your first product, suggests a price, and writes the description. You review everything and adjust anything before it goes live. The more detail you give it, the closer it gets on the first try.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can it build a full app, not just a website?">
    Yes. Beyond marketing websites, Crevio builds fully functional web apps — a booking tool, a client portal, a members area, a directory, a calculator, an interactive dashboard, and more. You describe what it should do, and Crevio builds the real, working thing and hosts it for you. No code, no separate hosting to set up.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Will the AI do things without asking me?">
    Not the important stuff. The AI happily handles everyday work on its own, but anything that really matters — refunds, deletions, payouts, sending money — needs your sign-off. You're always the decision-maker. And everything it produces is editable and reversible, so you can change your mind.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What does the AI cost?">
    The AI works using **credits**. A credit is simply what the AI spends to get things done for you — writing copy, generating images, building pages, answering customers, and so on. Bigger tasks use more credits; small ones use very few. You can see your credit balance and exactly what's been used in your account settings, so there are never surprises. Think of credits as fuel for your AI teammate.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What can the AI do?">
    Build and edit your products, write descriptions and emails, design and style your website, set pricing, run promotions, deliver content to customers, answer support questions, create images, and help drive traffic — all on your behalf.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What can the AI not do?">
    Make legal commitments, hire people, or take irreversible actions on your behalf without your explicit approval. It can draft contracts, job posts, and outreach for you, but you stay in charge of the final call.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What if the AI makes a mistake?">
    Everything the AI produces is editable and changes are reversible. You can roll back content, edit anything directly, or just ask the AI to redo a task with new instructions. Nothing important happens without your approval.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do I get the best results from the AI?">
    Be specific. Tell it what you liked, what you didn't, and *why*. Share examples of brands or products you admire. The more it knows about your taste, your audience, and your goals, the faster it lands on work you'd actually ship.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can the AI run ads and marketing for me?">
    It can write ad copy, plan campaigns, generate creative, and recommend budgets. You connect your ad accounts and approve the spend — the AI does the work inside them.
  </Accordion>

## Payments & money

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="How do I get paid?">
    You connect a Stripe account, the trusted service that securely handles payments. When customers buy, the money goes straight to your Stripe account. See [Getting started](/introduction/getting-started#connect-stripe-to-get-paid) for the quick setup.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do I need Stripe to start?">
    Only if you want to charge. Free products work without it, so you can set everything up and connect Stripe whenever you're ready to take payments.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What can I charge for?">
    One-time payments, subscriptions, pay-what-you-want, or free. You can even offer several pricing options on the same product — like a monthly and a yearly plan.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is my payment info safe?">
    Yes. Payments are handled directly by Stripe and never stored on Crevio's servers. Stripe is used by millions of businesses worldwide.
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Your plan & account

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Where do I manage my plan and credits?">
    In your [account settings](https://crevio.co/app/dashboard). You'll find your plan, your credit balance, and a breakdown of how credits have been used. See [Your account & settings](/features/settings) for a tour.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What happens if I cancel my subscription?">
    Your site pauses and your data is preserved. You can resubscribe anytime and pick up right where you left off — nothing is deleted automatically.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I add my team?">
    Yes. You can invite teammates and choose what they can access, so others can help run your business. See [Your account & settings](/features/settings#your-team).
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Results & expectations

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="How long until I see my first sale?">
    Your website can be live within minutes. First-sale timing depends on your audience and how much you promote — businesses with an audience often see sales the same day, while newer ones usually see early traction within a couple of weeks once content and marketing are flowing.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Should I micromanage the AI?">
    No. Give it high-level direction and let it execute. Step in when something is clearly off-brand or wrong, but otherwise trust it. Feedback like "this missed the mark because X" teaches it faster than rewriting things yourself.
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Safety & support

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Is my data safe?">
    Yes. Your data is encrypted, payment details are handled by Stripe and never stored on Crevio, and we don't share your data with third parties. You can delete your account and all its data at any time.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do I get help if I'm stuck?">
    Start with the AI assistant inside the app — it knows your business and can fix most things on the spot. For anything it can't resolve, email [support@crevio.co](mailto:support@crevio.co) and a human will help.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do I report a bug or request a feature?">
    Tell the AI inside the app — it can capture the details for you. Or email [support@crevio.co](mailto:support@crevio.co) with what happened. Many Crevio features came straight from customer requests.
