# Product reviews

> Collect reviews from happy customers, show them on your product pages, and arrange them to build trust and sell more.

Reviews are what other people say about your products -- a star rating and a few words about their experience. Showing them on your product pages is one of the simplest, most powerful ways to win the trust of someone who's on the fence. People believe other buyers far more than they believe your marketing.

With Crevio you can collect reviews, choose which ones appear, and put your best ones front and centre.

## Why reviews matter

* **They build instant trust.** A handful of genuine, positive reviews can turn a curious visitor into a buyer.
* **They answer questions for you.** Customers often explain in their reviews exactly what they loved, which reassures the next person.
* **They lift sales.** A product page with strong reviews simply converts better than one without.

## Collect reviews

The best reviews come from real customers shortly after they've enjoyed what they bought.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Wait for the right moment">
    Ask once a customer has had time to use your product -- finished a course, downloaded a file, settled into your community.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Invite them to review">
    Send a friendly note asking how they're getting on and inviting them to leave a review.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Approve and publish">
    New reviews appear in your dashboard. Choose which ones to show on your product pages.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  Don't want to write the request yourself? Ask Crevio to draft a warm review-request email and even send it to recent buyers for you. The easier you make it, the more reviews you'll get.
</Tip>

## Show reviews on your products

Once you've published a review, it appears on the relevant product page for visitors to see. The star ratings and comments sit alongside your product so visitors get social proof exactly when they're deciding whether to buy.

## Reorder your reviews

You decide the order reviews appear in. Put your strongest, most specific, most relatable reviews near the top so they're the first thing a visitor reads.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open your reviews">
    Go to the **Reviews** area of your dashboard.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Drag to reorder">
    Move your best reviews to the top and arrange the rest however you like.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    Your new order goes live on your product pages.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  The most persuasive reviews are specific -- "I landed two new clients in a month" beats "Great course!" Feature those first.
</Tip>

## If something goes wrong

* **A review is unfair or spammy.** You're in control of which reviews show. Simply leave it unpublished or remove it.
* **You're not getting many reviews.** Ask more often, ask sooner, and make it effortless -- a single link in a short, kind email works wonders. Ask Crevio to handle the outreach.
* **A negative review came in.** Respond graciously where you can. One thoughtful reply to a critical review often impresses future buyers more than a wall of five-star praise.
