# Reactions

> Crevio sometimes reacts to your message with an emoji, the way a colleague would.

**Crevio can react to your message with an emoji.** When you share a win, say thanks, or tell it something went wrong, Crevio may add one emoji to your message, such as 🎉, ❤️ or 😔. The reaction sits on the corner of your message, under the text.

A reaction comes with a normal answer. It never replaces one.

## When Crevio reacts

Crevio reacts when your message carries a clear feeling:

* **Good news.** "We just hit 100 sales!" might get a 🎉.
* **Thanks.** "That landing page is perfect, thank you" might get a ❤️.
* **Bad news or frustration.** "The launch flopped" might get a 😔 or a 🫂.

Most messages get no reaction. Questions, instructions and everyday requests are answered without one, and Crevio does not react to every message in a chat.

## Where reactions show

| Where you talk to Crevio | Where the reaction shows |
| - | - |
| Web, desktop and mobile apps | On your message in the chat |
| Slack | On your Slack message, and in the chat in Crevio |
| Discord | On your Discord message, and in the chat in Crevio |
| Telegram | On your Telegram message, and in the chat in Crevio |
| Phone calls | Only in the chat in Crevio |

## Limits

* **A message can carry more than one reaction.** Each emoji Crevio adds sits next to the others, and Crevio can take one back. In Telegram a newer reaction replaces the earlier one.
* **Some emoji do not reach Telegram.** Telegram allows only its own set of reaction emoji. When one is not allowed, the reaction shows only in Crevio.
* **Only the message it is answering.** Crevio does not react to older messages, or when it picks work back up on its own, such as a reminder it set for itself.
* **You cannot react to Crevio's messages with emoji.** To tell Crevio how an answer worked out, use the thumbs up and thumbs down buttons under its answer.
